About Me

I must have always wanted to be a Healer as from very small I wanted to be a Vet.  However as many before me I realised that wasn’t to be and although I obtained a BSc in Applied Biological Sciences but did not continue to work in that field, my scientific background came in useful later!

But Life had a destiny for us and mine was to come back around to healing in a formal capacity after I started training in Complementary Therapies back in 1992.  I commenced training after having  received redundancy number one, had a short spell in the States I came back and saw an  advertisement in the local paper for a Reflexology course starting that weekend. I whizzed over to meet the Tutor, Linda Ecroyd, and just knew I had to do it!

Well that started the ball rolling with additional training in Anatomy and Physiology to go alongside Swedish Massage and Clinical Aromatherapy.  No stopping me!

One of the weekend training days consisted on copying our hands and passing the copy around the room – when Linda saw my hands she accused her husband of putting in his as she could see they were the hands of a Healer.  That was my first big pointer in that I “should” be doing healing – so later I enrolled on my first healing course with the NFSH (National Federation of Spiritual Healers).

More years of studying alongside “day jobs”, working part time in my practice eventually led me to 9/11 2001.  I was working in an office when this huge disaster hit the news, the shock of how different people reacted to it led me quitting my day job and going full time into my practice, and that’s what I have been doing since.

Future studying has also included formal training and workshops in a variety of subjects.  Esoteric Healing, Shamanic Studies, Reiki (Master/Teacher), Crystal Healing Diploma (2years), Sports Injuries and Massage, Hopi Ear Candles, Seated Acupressure Massage and Hot and Cold Stone Therapy.  I also hold an Adults Teaching Certificate and am used to public speaking, demonstrations, group teaching and have taught and performed Middle Eastern Dance for several years. And, most recently I gained a Diploma in Canine Massage.

Animals in general have always been an important part of my life and although I no longer have horses, I do have two very lovely dogs that help get me out every day!

I truly enjoy helping others find their way and hope that I can help you find yours.  My life has been  pretty eventful of happenings and experiences that has enabled me to help others.  I firmly believe we all have a purpose in our life.
